11 Sep Spinning Blades
I remember when I sat back on cold and cushioned bedding during Twilight summer afternoons which were always to follow some sort of tragic news; news of either death, abandonment, lies, or some of form of immense disappointment that would keep me fixated on the spinning blades that rotated for hours on end, for my sake and sanity alone. Your news brought upon a new kind of heartache in me, something I never thought I would fall victim to. For before that day, I was strong, hopeful, and still unsure of what the future would hold; but it seems that ever since that moment when news settled in, I knew that fates eventually would as well.
Day in and day out I began to watch the world, for while they were asleep in the dead of night, I began to come alive – throwing away all sense of balance and sensibility that I once had. I was reborn in a way, for I knew that if I were to keep going onward, a sense of death would first have to be met. Moon beams have since guided me towards the secrets I had sought in ways that I could never imagine.
In time, open windows will display a sense of dread, a sense of bitter darkness, a sense of fate – so to speak. They’ll glow at a hue so chilling to the bone, that it will only attract those of the darkest of mindsets – the darkest of lifestyles. I know your warning call will be to stay indoors, locked within a room, and to leave the armor on the floor – but I know just as well as you do that these things cannot be rearranged. For as I said before, the cycle is soon to become full circle now, and all that has happened before will yearn to happen again.
