14 Sep A Moon & A Memory
I once lived a life tied down, this was long before I discovered the festering lie that was founded from beneath floorboards; long before I took it into my own hands to flee and aim for a life of higher heights. This was before the exile took place. During this time, the moonlight was my guiding light towards the lines that I sought to obtain, lines that were otherwise invisible to me, lines that until those day’s, were hidden far away from me, and were said to have never existed.
During the edge of this darker age, shadows have long since ascended. They are part of us now, part of me, part of you. For the force that I once knew as the warrior of light has long since gone and decayed, slain by the very light he once served – and now a part of echoes entirely. For what seemed like ages, the twilight has dominated the skies of the in between in a sort of stagnant state – but this was long before the darker nights began to settle in. Now that they arrived in that place, and now that they are morphing into a darkness beyond anything our minds can fathom – I have since had seek refuge and solace, for now, and join forces with the shadows in hopes to prepare from this new coming darkness.
For in this place, what seems to be the edge of the in between, there is a final light of sorts, a place where the sun violently burns when it can, and a place where a moon beckons mysteriously, when it can – whilst bringing along a chilling cold with it. It is in this place that the last of solace and peace exists, it is in this place that oaths will end along with light itself, it is this very place than will soon meet it’s end by my own hands. Over the eras I have seen both the fading of purity and innocence as well as the robbery of it. For upon awakening from a rest that I took, all was stolen from me – it is the beckoning of this very moon that reminds me of these times, and it is the beckoning of this very moon that warns me of what is to come.
