Beacons: Origins

What had once weighed me down, has now begun to diminish at a steady pace. But some weights, I tend to cling to. This chemistry seemed to had last forever, but ever since these machines were violently dismantled,  all alchemy came to an abrupt cease. And though, I now, can slowly begin to float freely, my heights seem smaller than before. For you took me to infinite places, places that before, only heaven could provide. To steal such true energy, and create an artificial form, only results in chaos if failed. But from which signal, should I look towards to know that this is truly the end? For somewhere in another world I waltzed with a figure of your status, your love, your likeliness. With greater elegance, and of different materia, you were soon to be gone, and out of my grasp. From that backyard we stood, was the same backyard in which foundations of an older era reside today. But you, are not of an older era, for you chose to be apart of this coming Dawn, along with my soul, and that is the plague that tracks me dangerously now.
