18 Apr Islander 4: Relics
“Time slows down”, they say; yet ever since that moment it’s continued to speed up like never before. An arch within this timeframe contain the moments where my heart beats like a drum, moving faster than anything you could ever imagine. But when I read those notes, over and over again, it slows down, almost coming to a stop. One day, hopefully one day soon, all my questions will be answered, mainly pertaining to why these odd shifts within these fates had to take place in the first place. I somehow feel many of my answers, much of what I seek, remains storied within this towering architect my eyes have been fixed on for so long. Watching over us in the distance, they see our every move, and bring light to the darkest hour.
The New Dawn has now risen over this new Advent. I can’t say that I honestly feel born anew, though I know I am now caught within a stage, within some shape that I have never found myself in before. Upon reading these characters that still remain quite visibly in-print; I can only become angry, cursing the apparent lies, and unanswered mysteries that I was soon to be bombarded with shortly after the exile, a time not so long ago, yet a period which is now an entire era behind us. But still, during the darkest of nights, I find myself with some strange visions, visions of some new futures? I cannot say for certain, but my heart yearns for change. For before this sun reaches it’s Dawning peak, I will set out onto these strange lands once again to retrieve these hidden answers. At some point, sometime before a setting sun, I will go once again, I will find home, and this time I will cling to it with every inch of my dying soul.
