Beacons: Equality

The fate that I had met with, was a tricky fate. He was silent, small, but fast moving, and quickly growing. He had the tongue of a snake and the mind of a demon.

The light that had I met with, was a never dimming light. It had the glow of a million angels, and the power of a God. It had a pulse that gave life to the dead.

The place that I had wandered to, was a strange place, of odd, and ancient architect. It held the promise of a new life, of freedom, of peace. It gave opening to the fate that had dimmed the light.

From cold, darkened nights, to empty platforms, was where all of these things collided within some powerful force.  Time spun slowly, from that time onward shifting pieces; moving, and erasing. You had another way of seeing it all, but you were blinded too, for the light was gone, and all hope was lost.

But I made a promise, not just an ordinary promise, but a promise, an oath’ed to transcend, time, space, and fate. The chain of this promise still holds me tight until this day. I of course, hold the key to these chains, however, by some action greater than words that I may simply speak, shall not unlock these chains until it is all done and over with. But before that may happen, a new journey will take place, and new wars will begin. It will introduce a life, a life that is dimming, a heart that is slowing, and a love that is dying; but a question that is answered.

For at this very moment they both stand equal, but back to back within different worlds, opposites on the scale.
