Dark Night at the Cathedral

I have sinned many sins, both in the past and future. The trail of shadows that linger behind me are not of some unintentional incident that took place during eras past, but instead – they were in fact form, grown upon, and nurtured during every passing hour of the night. Perhaps it is true what they say, perhaps the fall that I have taken, may in fact be the greatest fall since that of the Ice Cave collapse; what I do know however is that these arcs and staircases that had been presented to me were of some great divinity, and greater secrets that remain hidden, woven within the very shadows that I now head in, the very shadows that will soon engulf everything.

Soon, my time will be up, and my soul will be somewhere out in a twilight of a different shade that rides between the waves of forces that send me into shivers and shimmers while I sleep. For as long as I continue to live, with the days I have remaining, I know that I will return here – for the blackness that I have come to know is nothing of what will transpire if I am to continue walking this road. And when my vision becomes darker, and when my heart begins to fail – I pray the shimmering’s of past secrets and whispers will be seen within the veil of shadows that will engulf me, for I shall offer myself to know the truth, to become true.
