| The Interlude – Part 1 |

During times like these I am reminded that regardless of what actions I decide to take, actions that may pierce the shields of shadowed armies, or even the souls of allies that stand distant, yet within sight of me; these actions shall only bring upon the Fate that awaits me once the darkened night casts it’s wings upon this place. I am stuck in centers much wider than those that once held me captive here before. For this place is infinitely growing, expanding; now flooding with echoes and shadows alike – and I have begun to seek out refuge within the darkness, in hopes of spinning up a plan that will set me free.

But even now, darker and deeper sleeps have begun to sift their way into this place, along with poisons much more sinister that of which infiltrated this body of mine during the frigid days of the cavern walls. These sleeps seek war with all that I am, and now this entire vessel has become nothing but a battlefield, a chess board of great proportions, with many differing sides hoping to rule it all. Growing fainter and weaker with every passing day, I know that soon a Fate will be chosen and with it will come a rest that follows, or a chase towards some short yet fleeting dawn which will praise the arrival of an even dimmer Twilight that is looming, beckoning out of view.
